Thinking ahead to hosting Thanksgiving next weekend, I can't wait to decorate the centerpiece for the day! And since I have the Friday off before, I'll have time to brainstorm and throw something together...and clean thank goodness! We really need a spring cleaning weekend before this baby grows too much more!!
Anywho, ran across this lady at You, Me and the Kid, who did a beauty of a centerpiece! So cute, take a look!
That's it for me today, Have a great weekend!

About Me
- Krista @ Craving Some Creativity
- I'm a SAHM, and loving the time with my two little girls. I grew up in New Brunswick, met my husband at university and now am an unwilling Ontarian, forever a Maritimer at heart! This blog was started as an outlet for my small bit of creativity that was passed on to me. Here's my attempt to make my world a little bit more beautiful! I have more ideas than actual know-how but I think that is part of the fun along the way! I love to think of new and fun ways to create things, especially if it means saving a dime...I'm a true Dutch girl!

As we speak I am sure I am lying on a beach at the lake but \i had to be sure to leave a nice feature for while I'm away....and wow, did I find a good one to leave you! I can't wait to get into the new place so I can start up some projects again...hard to do when everything is in boxes here:( Week and a half now!!
Moving on, my feature this week is......Meet Virginia who took some wallpaper and a few mirrors to create a wonderful backdrop for her new tv...which can look pretty boring without her creativity! Here's the great before and after and if you go over and take a look she does an awesome how-to for the whole process!

Can you all believe its Friday already?? The weeks are flying by and we are looking at our last free weekend until September...good times! Its amazing how that happens! Well, I still took the time this week amidst our packing to take a look for a fun project that someone was bragging about...and this week I found Allison over at A Glimpse Inside who found a place in her house for some beautiful shutters with the help of her hubby.
Go on over and take a peek at her artwork:)

...a little late! Internet went down for the weekend but we are up and running! Happy Monday:)
That's right people...I love this project so much it is fantastic as well as fabulous!!! Some people are so much more gutsy with their projects, it amazed me...like this lady! Her kid's play kitchen just wasn't cutting it, so she made her own! And its awesome and pretty and definitely will last longer than the original!
You can thank Cassie over at Primitive and Proper for this awesome transformation! Be sure to take a look at her other stuff to cuz her creativity is just over-flowing!
Take a gander:)
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! I'm off for a weekend of catching up with friends! Lovely:)

Happy Friday everyone! This is the last post I will make live for the next two weeks as tomorrow night I head out to the Netherlands and the house we are staying at has no internet so sadly I will be "off the grid" :) Although at the same time, it is a wonderful feeling to be completely disconnected and unreachable...only way to really be relaxed I think! Don't worry though, I pre-published some posts for the next two weeks to give you an idea of what I'm up to and some more little projects I've been working on:)
And now, on to my fave blog of the week!! This week I went for a bit of a change...normally I pick my favorite project that inspired me this week but this site just wowed me as a recent bride myself:) Take a look at how this lady put together a wedding for under 2000!!!

Those who know me and my family know we are thrifty (some mention cheap but that seems a little harsh!!) and both my sister kept our weddings within a reasonable budget; however, this lady....I think she put us to shame...some really awesome ideas like a margarita machine make me want to do my wedding all over again!
That's it for today! Anyone got some good advice for an 8 hour plane ride?? Pass 'em on! :)

When I think of streamers I have always thought of tacky decorations pulled out at last minute to throw a bit of color in just about every party I've ever been too...can you relate? Well, no more!
My featured lady today has changed my view of streamers and made me enthusiastic about the look they can achieve in your decor! Take a look....
Oh so soft and pretty and if I didn't know, I would not have guessed what it was made of : ) Would you believe this is what happens when you run it through the sewing machine? Nope, me neither! And when you think it can't get any better, she teaches you how to make the flower too!
Well, take a look at my fave this week and have a fantastic weekend! I'll let you know how the show is tomorrow when we celebrate our anniversary at Medieval Times:)

To celebrate my first Friday of blogging I thought I would start a new tradition of picking my favorite blog post of the week and featuring it here. So to start it off, because I LOVE a project that can be done quick and easy and still have the effect of tranforming a room, or in this case, a hallway, the feature this week comes from Tidbits from the Tremaynes.

Happy Friday everyone!
